2009-2010 Academic Calendar
The academic year at Aoyama Gakuin University begins in early April and ends in late March of the following year. The First (Spring) Semester begins in April and ends in late July, followed by approximately a two-month summer break. The Second (Fall) Semester begins in late September and ends in early February. The Christmas/New Year vacation is about three weeks long. Classes are not held for about nine weeks between the end of the second semester final examinations and the beginning of the next academic year.
